Rok Žvelc, LLM (Saarbrücken), started his career in 2006 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia. He joined the European Commission in 2008 and worked as a legal officer on various files in DG Environment and DG Trade, such as external relations of the EU, trade and environment and environmental infringement cases. In 2016, he joined DG FISMA where he first worked on free movement of capital. In 2020, he started working in the Digital Finance Unit of DG FISMA on the Commission proposals on crypto-assets as well as on digital euro.
