Georgi Penev is the director and cluster manager of the largest FinTech cluster in Southeastern Europe – the Bulgarian Fintech Association (BFA). BFA unites 76 member companies, including 2 banks and 2 universities, and represents more than 11,000 employed in Fintech in Bulgaria. Georgi’s career went through leadership roles as a business consultant and expert in business development at a fintech company and recently co-founded the CEE Center for Digital Finance. Georgi holds a master’s degree in public policy and management from the University of Glasgow.
